| a creative way to shoot a cliche.. well done.. I think that a dark background would help contrast the yellow much better though |

| Very nice, I like this a lot. The positioning of the apple and stem is perfect. A black border may have set this off. |

| Now that's different. And is it ever clear. Almost think I see a thorn, like from a rose bush, on he stem. Really nice macro. |

| Your idea of the stem plunging into the yellow "pool" has a nice creative edge. The colour is fine and I understand your choice of focus. Could I make a few suggestions? The idea of a plain background is wise. But perhaps a different colour to act as a contrast (e.g. black ). The flow of lines near the stem junction are visually attractive. What do you think of plucking out the stem and doing a near overhead close up shot ? So that it appears as a yellow spotted belly button of some strange beast ? To me those lines and spots on the apple skin appeal to me more than the harsh intruding stem which overpowers the other parts of the apple. Otherwise this is a good photo. Thank you for entering.
