| A delightful abundance of windows, and with personality, unlike the sterile rectangles of so many modern efforts. I like how they transform in their receding perspective -- from windows to keyholes to a line of soldiers. To play with the metaphor, the red chairs seem like a field of soldiers at parade rest. This particular pattern is restful and enjoyable, stately as refined and reformulated history. The reflection on the watery ground add even more to appreciate, especially the red boots of the soldiers...er, chairs. |
