 There was a very thin layer of clouds at the right place to create this phenomenon. I was also lucky enough to be in the right place to grab my camera and take a few shots before the clouds drifted away.

It's already hot in Arizona, but OMG! Can the sun be that huge? In what wavelength was this taken? I like the sci-fi, over-the-top-ness of this image. This desert, so beautiful and distinctive, can certainly seem other-worldly to some, but fortunate are those who call it home. Unique and mesmerizing.
