A point or two off cuz it's leaning over - I would guess you couldn't do anything about that although the pump does not look like it is secured there. Could've been a top pick for me but for that. |

Selective desat worked well in this as my eyes can hardly move from the subject which is obviously low tech. There is a shovel like formation just under the bulb of the pump that is distracting and should be cloned out. I find the choice of DOF fine in this image and the trench/stream in teh background helps to keep a flow of the photo while subtly creating a division between foreground interests and background. Nice! |

Well, the concept of the well is captured here with a desta that works. 7 |

Nice composition, like the rich color of the pump. Good luck... |

Exceelent saturation. I would have liked it better if the pump was more vertical. |

I think you shouldn't have used selective desat here, it's becoming too much of a novelty without adding to the picture. Howeer you have left some colour in the background but still... nice shot though. Great idea. |

i don't think the pump needs that much saturation a little desat. would have been nice its just too red.
i think that backround could make anything standout w/o having to saturate it(the subject) that much-GL nice shot |
