for the March side challenge

went to the mall with my daughter .. we were in the lift .. i looked up .. and saw the reflection .. the rest is history .. !! .. ;)

i can be a bit of a wally btw .. and i'm actually wearing a red striped tshirt ..

but also in reference to the iconic where's wally/waldo .. the picture book where The iconic, elusive man in the red-and-white striped shirt was first hidden away in 1987 by British illustrator Martin Handford.

to the British and Australians it's Wally .. in the USA and Canada its Waldo..

Very fine image, creative and captivating. The composition is interesting, kind of a starburst. The elevator walls are a subtle frame within the frame. I like the funky processing and the canvas layer. I like you in the picture, and the quirky but effective retention of the orange in your shirt. The only thing I'm not keen on is the line through the center, which I guess is a joint in the ceiling mirror. Yet, it's at a rakish angle, which helps. All around great fun.

Fascinating! The overlay gives this a surreal quality. Your red/orange striped t-shirt draws my eye. Interesting composition!
