this looks like a ribbon to me .. the editing is absolutely perfect . the model couldnt be better .. his entire appearance speaks of times gone by .. his expression almost mesmerizing .. a very daguerreotype expression actually .. brilliant .. !! .. :)

Excellent job evoking the daguerreotype portrait aesthetic - if I had a quibble, I'd say it would have been good to use a reflector on the sitter's right side to open up the shadows a bit on that side of his face and bring out more detail in the scarf on that side too.

Crap. I had my pick for the blue already and now this. I'll call it Red for this one, but it will probably be blue. Deserves either or both, though. :)
