The crowd adds to the atmosphere, but are they completely necessary for the message of the picture? What happens with a close crop -especially on top- just surrounding the coach and players, still allowing some space on the right (though not as much)? |

Just not enough emotion in the shot for the challenge. |

Nice capture of the moment which definitely defines the challenge. Perhaps a tighter zoom of the players and coach. If you didn't have better zoom capabilities (my camera wouldn't have), then a crop would work. Maybe one just including just the coach, Loren Woods and Lamond Murray would work better. (Okay I cheated, I looked up the roster). Unless you wanted to show that the coach was exercizing his authority in front of all the fans. Then it works well. |

Picture leans a little to the right.
I doubt that they're listening at all. |

Has a snap shot quality to it. Not a pic i'd frame or put on a calendar - so not worthy of more than a midling vote. |

I think a tighter crop around just the coach and the player would have carried this off much better. Without your title, the coach is barely noticble this way. Now if you could have been right down there on the court with a narow aperture... (I jest! :) |

lucky to be able to shoot from this perspective. it's a shame that you couldn't get a shot of a ref exerting his authority on the court...as is, i see guys walking away from someone. also, the presentation itself would have been stronger if you had rotated it to remove the tilt. i know this venue didn't offer the best lighting, but the focus needs to be a little sharper, as well. |

Just slightly too cluttered. |

Nice focus, contrast, and saturation. Composition suffers however from your particular crop. I would have cropped the coach and player closer to the inner 1/3 of the photograph and perhaps changed the aspect ratio. |

The players seem just a bit out of focus, might be a little over-exposed on the jerseys, and the angle is distracting. |
