I know I really blew this on not being able to sit still for 15 sec. But this was my best, so even if it will be torn apart by many comments in regards to that, still sent it in. The idea will hopefully earn a few points.
Had another copy of this where I fixed all the hot pixles and sharpened it a bit, but was unable to submint as it was to large in X times Y, so I had to send in the hot pixle and un edited version.

No more beer for you. lol Bumping up to 7. It is really a six because you could have controlled sharpness more. Nevertheless, a very good effort and funny to boot

Funny!

Clever. Nice time exposure. I'm sure it was not easy to hold that pose.

i really like the way the wife is lighted out in the background

Forget the beer - is that a bong on the table??? :-)
Nicely done - just a little dark & out of focus.
11/29/2004 06:11:44 PM
Uh, I don't think that's to help you burp! If you have to ask whether you can have one more, you've probably had enough : )

I like idea pretty much but you got some failure with focus.

CUTE!

Very funny shot, I like it. Great use of long exposure, looks like you had some trouble keeping still ;-) Nice work.

Hahaha

does basic editing meet this pics???

Very funny!!

Yeah, this is funny. I guess that's your wife in the background? I like how you made her look as if she was your bad conscience. However the long exposure caused some heavy blur on you/your male model. The scenery isn't too interesting I must admit. There are too many details in the background which take the eye's attraction from the main subject. A pub would have been nicer as location. And that torchlight on the right hasn't got anything to do in there. It doesn't add to the picture.

Rather gimicky, IMO. The position you've chosen is a hard one to keep sbsolutely still, revealing quite a bit of motion blur. On a compositional note, the purple flashlight seems unnecesaary. It is very contrasty and competets with the green of the beer can against the black shirt.

Now, this is just one form of authority I could relate too. It is a shame about the movement in the hand of the principle subject.

a cute idea, though I probably would have made sure the main subject sat still through the entire shot so his face wasn't blurred. Also, take care with extraneous objects in shot- my eye is drawn to that purple flashlight!

Love the lady in the background! Great idea.

good idea

great humor, nicely done. you might want to lose the flashlight, though (it really does take away from the image). while this isn't the greatest images, it is certainly one of the best in the challenge. hope you do well!

I thought this was basic editing so I am not sure if this qualifies. The image is fuzzy, but it certainly is a great idea. Very funny. Great expression on both faces.
11/23/2004 08:15:30 PM
This is almost great. Too much movement by the foreground subject during this double exposure. I think a quick levels adjustment would have corrected for the warm white balance.

the clothing of the man is very noise tec. wise that bothers me at the level that the noise is.

also the clutter(behind the man's left sholder) and the pruple ©Maglight take away from the shot
