This is a great image! I love the color tones you've worked it up with. Nice composition, the eyes follow the train along quite naturally. Well done! |

Yes I am sure now that I am so glad I didnt enter this challenge! This one is very good and I dont think I am very good with my camera yet to top this! Great photo! |

Challenge link: OK, but this is really quite hi-tech in my view
Image critique: nice focus, composition - but editing marks visible in sky area and highlights are blown

Very nice capture of a pefect subject. Very nice definition of the body of the locomotive -- rivits, pipes and all. It would be better if the sky wasn't blown out, IMO. A friend of mine owns a working antique steam locomotive. I have ridden in the cab on the foot plate. Fascinating experience I hope you can enjoy if you haven't already. Among my top picks. |
