| I find those over-blown highlights a major distraction here. Fixable, I wold hope, as it's a very strong portrait in potential. |

| A startling image. I like that his body is hidden in shadow and the toddler is completely visible. The shallow DOF field contributes to this. Good job. Hope it does well inthe voting. Is he wearing a clerical collar? That would add a whole 'nother dimension to this in light of current news! |

This photograph fares well on technical merits: the focus, tonal range, detail, and post processing is good.
What is not readily apparent is the connection with the challenge theme. Perhaps this would have been better served in a different challenge. |

| Very good photo. I feel it dosn't fit the challenge very well. However I can see your concept on how it could. I feel this is an above average picture by itself. I would like to have seen a few things different however. First a closer match to the challenge. Second a closer crop. The hands are out of focus. I feel the hands for some weird reson make the girl look like a maniquin. I do however feel that if this realy is a maniquin youve got my cudos. Very realistic dummy, or a very maniquin looking girl. No insult intended. However overall a very nice shot. |

| What a beautifully done portrait sitting!!!! Wonderfully emotive. I honestly don't feel that there is a strong connection for me to the challenge, but just my opinion. |
