Great pattern and I'm a sucker for white on white AND design elements, so of course I like this.
Andi contributed a great piece of trivia here: "I'm sure you are aware but will tell you anyway - in years gone by fishermen wore knitted sweaters, the patterns were so localised that when bodies were washed ashore after an accident the fishermen could be identified by their sweaters!"
When I don't get in to an image early, I try to comment without reading the comments but then always scroll down to read before I post. I find those times when I either virtually parrot or, conversely, completely contradict someone else's opinion particularly interesting. Neither was the case here, of course. |

It's nice to hear that they have museums like this. Square comp works well to highlight these kinds of close-in detail. |

Lovely pattern. I remember when the world was awaiting a new arrival, knitting needles would be a-clicking amongst the relatives. Now everyone buys a Bond's wondersuit or something. |
