returning for comment:
I do not think so! lol On the other hand, i can see the poetry of the title. A very good b/w study with great tonal values and very good flexing pose.. bumping to 7 |

Not an original pose but well taken and clearly exhibits authority. |

...yet I can't even afford a shirt! :-) Nice shot, but hard to connect with the challenge topic. |

Seems like your subject should have been brighter. I really want to see that left side fade into the right. |

This image is stunning. I don't care whether this meets the challenge or not - the best, hands down. |

The lighting is fantastic here, and he's a pretty great subject for a shot like this. As an added bonus the pose definately conveys authority (at least in my humble opinion). Hope you do well... on the whole I haven't really been impressed with this challenge, but I really like this.9. |

hrmm I swear I've seen this one before -- definately shows authority -- and no matter who you are you have to stop for at least a few second to look at it -- model posed, shot from behind, empty space, shadows look great, good composition -- top 10 at least i'd say. |

Beautiful lighting, but I don't think the focus is supossed to be this soft. Good idea, but there's something that makes it seem flat to me. Good luck. |

This is a very impressive shot. I really like the muscle definition by the shadows. Great lighting and composition. This would have been excellent in the previous Black & White contest. |

Well I am not judging if it it's on topic or not. I find this picture very well done. I'd give it a 9 but since i lack the connenction to rules as such, I'll lower the score to 8. I know that you're going for the "authority" word but I am not sure if the topic is about this precise understanding of the word. Any way the shot is a beauty. |

Great lighting and shadows.... Perfect crop... Symmetrical. Strong Entry. |

I like this photo, but it would have seemed a lot more powerful as a full body shot... IMHO :o) |

Must be invisible world, Atlas! Great composition, contrast and shades. |

Nice authoritative pose, but the one highlight on his head is a bit much when the rest are perfect. |

It would have been nice to see what he sees. The lighting on him is very effective, though. |

nice bw. lighting leaves the detail on the back a little soft. while this image evokes a sense of power, it does not speak to me of authority. |

By the position of the talent, this photo begs to be centered, which is not. Also, a tiny more contrast would make it better, in my opinion. Overall, it's a good concept. |
