2nd attempt at shooting the moon. My first was for an actual moon challenge so I felt it was tougher as everyone had the same subject matter meaning you had to beat the best of the site for a top spot. Since this is a shadow challenge I figured most will use shadows of people, building...etc which hopefully in turn leaves me with a higher moon image score than my last.

Waxing means that it is getting bigger. Gibbous refers to the shape, which is less than the full circle of a Full Moon, but larger than the semicircle shape of the Moon at Third Quarter. With some exceptions, the Waxing Gibbous Moon rises during the day, after noon
