Three glasses, three partially eaten oreos. I stuck a small straw into the base of each oreo, and then into modeling clay at the bottom of a glass. Then I filled the glasses with milk nearly to the brim, entirely covering the straws.

This setup didn't last very long, as the oreos quickly got so soggy, they fell off the straws. A number of cookies were harmed in the shooting of this photo.

Shot handheld in natural light.

It seems the days of the triptych by framing are here. Interesting application of the technique, nonetheless. Seems the center glass and cookie are not quite as crisply in focus as the others--the lighting differences suggests it was set back a hair deeper. Looking forward to the explanation of how you got the Oreos to stand up in the milk.

Very Nicely Done. BradP would be proud of the framing ;-) Love the picture.

Very clever; can't say it does much for me photographically. I wonder if you haven't sacrificed a sense of depth and power of light in the process of the trick.

Your photograph is well thought out and very creative. The border gives me a feel of looking at a slide film. Great Job!

Not my style. A bit too "KItschy" and sanitized. It does however make you scratch your head- so- its ok .

The milk looks a bit flat in color. i recall reading somewhere that in photos milk is usually substitued with something else...white glue maybe? Great idea.

Can't wait to see how this was done. I like the three frames and the bright red background. The only thing bothering me from a realistic standpoint is the last frame. Who takes a bite, turns the cookie around, and dunks the other side? Definitely not worth taking off points though!
