A candid shot of repairs in progress. Wish it had been at a different angle but the repair didn't take long enough to get a different position.

Meeting the Challenge: I would say a 10 here, even though Waldo's right up front, he was hard for me to spot with my ADD and 50 year old eyes!

Composition: I do see some apprppriate use of thirds in the composition. Nice contrast and use of b.w. I think there were pro's and cons of including all of the truck. It is obvious what it is, without the picture being real long and full of sky and snow.

Technical Quality: If this hadn't been the hiding waldo challenge, I would have liked to have seen this shot more exposed or differently lit. No obvious post-processing problems noticed. The focus seems to be a bit better on the snow than it is on the subject, or maybe the lighting just makes it seem that way.

Creativity: Good for a candid shot. Not a photo I would hang on my wall and show off (neither was my entry for this challenge ;%)

Conclusion: Challenge very well met, photo could have been more exciting.

Hope this helps, if you have questions, please feel free to email me.

Challenge mt. Waldo looks like he's changing a tire, or doing something with the tires. Overall, I think the photo is a little dark (even though that does help you hide Waldo better). B&w was definitely necessary since I think Waldo might wear some really bright orange suit with white reflectors. LOL. Good catch to realize that could work for this challenge. :)

Hey you took the photo before Waldo before he got to his hiding place :-)) No, it is a good photo, especially in B/W to bring in more shadow for Waldo to hide in, but I bet that sky is soooo blue right? Nice composition, good job.

could be better if the whole truck is seen

Bending down between the back tires. Nice use of shadow to hide your person.

For something soooo obvious, it was actually hard to find! A pleasant surprise when I did and a feeling of chagin when I realized how obvious it was. Nice tones.

Waldo appears to be squatted down at the rear tires, and wold be easier to spot if the photo were a little lighter. I realize that's why you didn't lighten it. But it would have been a better photo had it been lightened. Good choice of black and white. Nicely done.

woulda preferred to see the whole truck I think

found your waldo! very smart.

The problem is, too little "stuff" and to much of waldo who is too obsured.

Nice contrast and coloring, good spot for Waldo. The picture feels tight because the front and end of the truck were cut off.

Under the truck bed, between the tires. Focus is good, contrast is strong in places. Interest moderate to low. 6 Swash

took me more than the average 2 seconds to find your waldo. =)
very good use of B&W.

This is good - had to look for a few seconds to find the really obvious person!

Found him! One of the few that meets the challenge very well. I wish the whole truck (or at least the front) was visible on the photo though.
