 I went to our nearest beach to photograph the weather and found, as an unexpected bonus, a fisherman standing at the end of one of the stone jetties, which was covered by breaking waves. He looked for all the world as if he was walking on water!

As the weather turned progressively worse I felt slightly worried about him getting back to shore safely on the slippery stones. Perhaps he waited until the tide had turned. In any case his wife was there, sitting on a bench waiting patiently and we had a nice chat before I left. They had driven down from Boston for the day, just for the fishing.

I love this. my only complaint is the human figure. I want the human story to be a little bigger or nonexistent. the textures and tones are great.
