 Mt. Hood with some of the very few clouds available in the area during the "weather" challenge week. Evening shot. Color version was washed out and flat unlike sunset times in other months. Black and white seems to represent the scene better. Focus point was on the mountain, but wildfire smoke mixing into about 40 miles of air between me and the subject made some natural blur that camera technique and post processing could not entirely overcome.

I like the composition and B&W over color in this case. Lack of critical sharpness in the image is not such a problem for me (I get the smoke issue). It's a moody shot and looks "old". Nice image.

Looks like you completely missed focus on the mountain, although I guess it is a weather challenge and maybe you’re focusing on the cloud, but it doesn’t really work for me.
