Greatly lacking visual impact...does show a street situation that could lead to some kind of great photo...but the camera position looks way too "safe." "Safe" meaning far away, no real expressionscaptured, no real action...just a milling crowd.

I would have cropped a little in the top, so police get more attention

i think this photo would have had a greater impact if the man raising his arm was slightly more in focus. How ever i belive it is still a strong image

it really takes more than a passing glance to catch the line of helmuts. maybe if you had a slightly higher perspective. looks like an interesting place to being taking photographs. glad you didn't make the news.

Certainly a defiance of authority here. Overall a good entry.

Has a raw, edgy, unprocessed look to this shot.

A little too cropped and/or digitized. pretty good though.

A good reportage: the very thing for this challenge!

One of the best images in this challenge. You seem to have gotten a shot of authority that is unique and topical. Good tone. The title could have been a little more explicit. Although I get the general idea, I obviously missed something onthe news somewhere, because I don't know what thisis.

I get a very rowdy chaotic feel from this pic, but technically not a good shot. nosy, some excess USM or JPG jaggies in the buildings, some overexposreu in the one building, not strait (which helps the feeling somewhat).

Good idea, but choose a focal point. Not all the people seem engaged in challenging whatever is going on. The police or soldiers are hard to see, and I am unsure what they are doing. I would focus on bald man in the white t-shirt. His stance and physical appearance are certainly challenging. He makes a great image. The man in the sunglass distracts from your intent because he seems unconcerned.
