Good work, I like this a lot, especially the fact that your picture actually gains something from the black and white conversion. This is a really interesting perspective on the subject.

Thanks for all your comments, I do appreciate the time you have all taken. There were so many entries!

Took this the morning we left Turkey - in colour it looks pretty boring but once I had coverted it to b&w,adjusted curves and applied usm it turned out much better than I thought.

Validated? Why should this need to be validated? Anyway, I think the tone of this image is among the best I've seen yet. The reflections, the clouds....it's all excellent. If I could vote higher than 10, I would.

What a great industrial looking shot. The reflections on the metal are what really make this shot for me. The sky also adds a very interesting element. Well done.

I don't especially like the subject, but the sky in the background is amazing. The way it goes from dark to light as it moves out away from the subject provides a nice effect. 9.

blast off!! hehe enjoyed the feeling of this one... and the reflections and sky are cool, a little simpe and closest faucet (or whatever) looks a bit stuby

If a photo should get high marks by how long someone looks at it, then this one would get a very high score from me. It is very interesting and unusual. I like the sky and it is a good composition.
