This is one of my favourite shots on this site..I don't even know why..the girl is caught in such a real dramatic moment..it is like a great scene from a movie..and i don't think you even visit this site anymore and I am writing this anyway.. |

Moody portrait with the fog. Good exposure. Centered composition of your model works okay here. Nice shot. |

Interesting portrait. Shot is rather symetrical but she is leaning at an odd angle so it makes this a more provacative image. |

Love the fading into the mist in the background. I also like the symetry of the trees and I think the placement of the girl works well in the center for this shot. |

I think the image is too centered and really doesn't have a lot of interest for me.. I think you could have been more creative on such an interesting day for photography. The fog and the cool knarley old trees would have been perfect props. |

Great picture.. the more i look at it, the more i get impressed with the way the background "chills" the enviroment! Besides that, cute girl! :-) A 10 from me! |

A 10. So beautiful, but so frail. Great lighting and mood for this picture. Hope to see her story after the contest. |

Very sharp focus on subject and ethereal background. This is of the most profound photos that I have seen in this challenge and I'm not even sure exactly why. Congratulations on a great capture. 10 |

Very unique portraiture. I would like to see this same scene captured with the lens a touch lowerto bring the foreground subject into more balance with the background. I love how all the elements work together though - this is a great b/w shot which color would surely detract from. |

Amazing shot imo. Great idea, great composition. Mist level and subject range work really well. Light balance, contrast etc is perfect imo. 10. Good luck! |

One of my favourites in the challenge. Perfect exposure, and DOF is nice to leave the texture in the trees behind without being too intruding on the subject. When I first saw it I thought it would benefit from lifting the camera's perspective so that her head doesn't cut into the trees behind, but it's fine as it is. Good luck... |

Oh.. with those magnificent trees and the fog and the lady, it could have been so much more creative and original and artistic and perfect for b/w... but this, unfortunately, looks like another home style snapshot kinda deal :( |

wow, add a person with amazing depth to an already amazing picture of trees and you ahve a great shot.. (love the trees by the way) .. the shiny something on the right (POV viewer) shoe is a bit distracting visualy but a great pic! |

I keep seeing photos that are fantastic if only they were cropped differently....I guess everyone seeing things differently is what makes the world go round, lol. My first reaction when this one started to load was that it was outstading....then I see the darker areas coming into view and I didn't like it as well. (Still a very nice photo, tho) I cropped it differently....with just the top misty area and the top of the girl in it and loved it. Just me I guess. |

some reason I just like it. The rounded background works well. 7 |

I love the contrast of the pale fog with the bold subject. Very nice shot, it feels full of emotion and mystery? Is there a story behind this? |

Great tones, good symmetry in the trees and the mist sets it off nicely. The girl doesn't look like she wants to be in the photo though! |
