blindjustice is right about it deserving a ribbon, unfortunately there's only three to give out.

It really does have feeling, I think its an outstanding shot, one I would be very proud of.

The composition is excellent the range of tones very good, only the one house on the left is a bit burn out. The sky adds to the feeling. Very well done, an excellent result.

this really deserved a ribbon- no offense to the others- but this has a feeling of spirit and soul.

I swear I had a feeling this was yours. Outstanding Judith! Congratulations on your 6th place win.
I posted at 2am this morning when I woke up to go to the bathroom and just had to check out the results (don't laugh I know there of many of you who do the same thing):) I just had to come back and comment again. Judith this is exceptional. It pleases me to see how far you have come in the last couple of years. Your work was great when we first met, but now everything you do makes me say WOW. I see a ribbon in your near future. You are just coming too close not to get one soon.

This is a typical scene, but I like the way you've captured it with the smooth sky and the b/w tones. Not a favorite, but nicely done I think.

I really like the sky to land/house ratio. I think that a little USM would have made this even better, but maybe you were going for a soft look. Nice Shot.

Great Black and White. .Is it a conversion or did you take it in B&W> Love the tonal range here and the soft trees against the hard lines of the houses adds to the interest....nice sky.

Nice little rural scene. I actually like that there is a lot of sky in the picture. A tighter crop may have hurt this photo.
