I keep coming back to this image. When I orginially viewed it, my first reaction was that it is too noisy, and the face is too light. After two or three times, I'm beginning to like the image. I still think the face is a little bright, but it could be a bright scene in the movie. You've captured and old time photo look in this theatre. The compostion is really good. I orginally gave this a 5, I'm bumping to 8

I really love the mood of this shot. From the darkness to the light shafts to the position of her hand. I just wish she wasnt so blurry and grainy.

Just a quick note to say I like the processing on this one. Makes it look like it's really old. I've been trying to get that effect but my camera doesn't pixelate very well in it's digital zoom mode. Hope you left notes.

If only the film was in focus :(

The image itself is interesting, and I think you've crafted the "feel" you were after. It's unfortunate that such a powerful border was applied to an otherwise subtle image as it detracts from the feel.

nice idea, but I really would like to see more crispness in this photo

Maybe if you used a tripod or a faster shutter speed, this wouldn't be as blurred. I'm not a "border hater" but this one seems a little too intense

I think this is wonderful. The title works and the setting takes me back tot he old flea pit picture palaces... Thanks very much!!!

Great shot. Well composed. I even like the border and I usually hate borders. Spoiled somewhat by the focus.

Excellent idea. I like the idea of lighting one person in what is usually a crowded place, but when the movie is good, you feel like you are the only one in the theater. Your subject is too washed out for me. Since you are highlighting her, I want to be able to see her in more detail. Again, I think this is a genius of an idea. Great brain work thinking it up. I think it has the potential to transcend. I imagine you do some very amazing work or certainly have the potential.

I really like this shot, the lighting and composition are excellent. But, the woman looks a little out of focus. But you still get a good score for impact.
