This reflection photo, while sharp and well composed, is also very busy. There also seems to be a lot of color tone in it, is this because of in-camera conversion?

A little busy but a nice reflection.

a lovely, lovely study that works extremely well in black and white. 8

Wow, best reflections I've ever seen. Fantastic shot. Such still water...

I really like seeing these images, and seeing this in reality is even more astounding. Nice shot and lots to look at...really holds the eye.

Grasmere: A lake of northwest England in the Lake District. Village of Grasmere, was the home of William Wordsworth from 1799 to 1808.
Grasmere, ID 83604 I had to look this title up. This is a beautiful location and wonderful image.

I like this shot. I dont know if you've gotten comments about the tones, but to me this looks like warm black and white, actually, so it meets the challenge in my eyes. I thihnk it could benefit from more contrast. Good job

The detail is great... But the complexity is giving me a headache... :-)

This is an excellent picture. The water is so still, it looks fake! I have nothing to suggest to improve this shot. I hope it does well. Good Work!

excellent detail held throughout the image, and I'm envious of the reflection you've captured. Looking forward to reading the details of this image when the voting ends as I'd like to know more about the location. Outstanding landscape work!

So very cool - an awesome picture. Would like to see it in B&W instead of the browntone.

Beautiful capture, like a mirror. Great depth, shadows, varying grays. Hope to see color version...

Lovely...but is it black and white? I rate it high anyway.
11/17/2004 05:07:18 AM
Well, it certainly has texture.

I'm confused by this image. Maybe it's the bottom heavy reflection. Maybe it's the feeling that the whole thing needs to be a little darker. 6
