We were forecast record heat for this time of year (mid Autumn) so we headed to the beach. Our town, Ballarat, got the record heat (32 degrees C) but it was a totally different story at Torquay, about 1 1/4 hours drive away. The sun hardly showed itself and there was a cool/cold wind off the sea.
