Just stolling through all the entries and reading the poems... funny how your picture with that head line prompted to create limericks...
If I have a bad day next time I'll came back, this will cheer me up for sure. |

there was a young man
dropped down a well
for reasons unknown
it rang us no bell |

There was a young man from Nantucket
Who always sat in a bucket
He took off his hat
We're thankful for that
Then we proceeded to "pluck it"! |

My daughter once told me
About a young man
Who sank to the very
Bottom of the Sea
What did he find there?
I asked, clipping my toe nails.
He found toe nails, she said
My toe nails?
Of course!
You should be more careful
She said
They don't need those
Horrible things at the bottom,
Of the Sea. |

There was a young man in a pool
He looks a bit of a fool
Sat in a barrel
Wearing googles and hat
I am not quite sure what I make of that |

there was a young man in a tub
before he was entering a pub
he checked out his hat
looked like a mole rat
had quite a success at the club |

A charming young man in a barrel
Wore only a hat for apparel
He held onto that
And sang, as he sat,
A strange and unknown Christmas carol. |
