 I shot these Amish people last month on a deserted beach near Sarasota, Fla.
There is an Amish /Mennonite community nearby and over the years I have
encountered them early in the morning. Luckily I had a long lens and I sat down
in the sand and photographed them without their knowledge..
I submitted the shot to 1x without the bird and they published it. If my pp skills were better I would have submitted it with the bird because I think it gives it whimsey and a reference to a New Yorker cover.

I shot the bird around the same time so I think the lighting and color work. It will probably be DQ'd for some cockamamie rule.
