Lovely Car, nice shot! Sir William died in 1985 and was last involved with the Xj-S design project. I've enjoyed Jaguars as daily transport for 35 years starting with the E-type.
You would have benefited from cropping beyond the wings and to the ground. If your reg. plate was showing you should remove it and replace it with a Leaper plate or Ujack flag plate.

As others have said this just work for me either in fitting the challenge. There just isn't anything here portraying a hero.
As for the image itself you need to work on getting rid of some of the reflections and glare in the image they are just to distracting. Also its slightly off in cropping, possibly tilted just enough to make you look at it and wonder?

Nice shot of the XKR. It or XK8 are a hoot to drive! Few distracting things though. Not level, reflections of the trees on the hood and parking lot or something on the bumper, not cropped evenly.
