I can't put my finger on it because I think this shot should work and yet it doesn't quite, for me. I think it is because there are too many points of interest and therefore it loses focus, or rather direction. The seat on the left is perhaps the problem, and as I continue to look at it, I think that is what it is. Perhaps cropping it out would also reduce the flare from the lights and draw the eye more to the train. |

I like this image. Great framing and the movement of the train past the passengers, their stance make me as your view feel as if life is rushing past these lonely, disconnected people. I wish the subject in the foreground were in focus, but I like the fact that the subjects near the train are blurred. The star-like light is well placed, but is too much. It distracts from what otherwise creates a tense mood of loneliness and being left behind. You certainly have an artist's eye. Brilliant composition, use of line, and movement used effectively. Wow! keep at it. You are a real talent. Thanks for sharing this photo. It shows a creative brain at work behind it. |

I feel like this shot would look better in sharper focus, to really offset the motion blur from the train. |

shortening the exposure time by half would hive this image the sharpness that is missing. also i would like to see a bit more black in the sky. 5
