Taken in the St. Patrick's Cathedral at ISO 1600. Running it through NeatImage rendered it too soft to be acceptable so the grain needed to stay. I do not think it will detract from the image but i have a feeling that voters will vote down because of that. Another reason that i feel i will be voted down is because on most monitors, this shot looks underexposed. On my own moniter, there is detail in the left pillar and I think it is a well exposed shot. Any longer of a shutter speed would have not only been hard to handhold, it would have also blown out the highlights in the lights even more. This was the best compensation and compromise for the conditions. Also, they do not allow the use of flash in the cathedral.

Anyhoo, here's my shot...hope it breaks five :)!

Good job. The patterns lead me to think more sensual than godly. The toning is beautiful. Ah. And the lovely grain. bravo.
Edit to correct spelling. I'm amazed this didn't do better, but you did exceed your expectations.

This pic has a sense of elegaance. I would like a chance to re-crop this where the one light is not so close to the edge of the print.

This si a little to dark for my tast. I enjoy the contrast provided by the two hanging lights in the scene. But the columns when lit seem to be a touch grainy. Still, the excellent composition proves for a worthy 10.

Excellent study in light and shadows. The image sufffers a bit from grain, but the over all effect is very powerful.
