This building looks like it was abandoned during wartime. The denuded canopy is being turned into an arbor. Black and white suitably fits the plaintive atmosphere. The only distractions, to my eyes at least, are the newly cut, or amputated, limbs of the tree. Aside from that I like the image.

nice find, but i'm not a fan of the post-processing. seems to be a bit over-done when the subject didn't really require it.

one other thing to consider for things like this is to shoot from a higher perspective, even if it means carrying a ladder (or step-ladder). as is, this is an on-the-street, eye-level view. imagine if you had been high enough to have been eye-level at a point between the tops of the doors and the 2nd floor windows.
