 These are spectators and runners at the Chicago Marathon on Sunday. I took a lot of shots of puddles and shadows there. Hopefully, this is one of the more interesting. There were a couple of others I liked that might have been bolder choices.

So much to see and appreciate here. The entire scene seems supported by columns of legs and varied shoes. The puddle that provides the canvas opens up on a surreal urban carnival, bright and expansive. The roadway peeks through the water as stars-cum-confetti. The central man in shorts strides across like a colossus. It's fun and enchanting.
