Chess is always a poignant image. Shame you didn't get closer. I could have seen who was going to win. As is, it looks like black is on the ropes, with both knights, a bishop, the queen, a rook, and some pawns right on the king's doorstep. |

At first I didn't see the chess board but the way you have this set up leads my eye right to it. Well done. |

Well done. Perhaps more selective focus on the gentlemen? There's a lack of negative space. |
