Greetings from the Critique Club!
So we meet again, Msr Marcel...*muwahahaha...* Lighting and comp are ok in this shot but not spectacular. As did your commenters, I see the dragon-winged horse in the thumb - the 'horse' head facing left and the tangle of roots in the upper right for wings, and the lower thirds making the body - but at full size it's a bit tougher to see. I agree with Irene in using a bit of dodge and burn to accentuate the primary shape, especially in b/w when it really does come down to shape and form. The clouds in the bg help to add to the atmosphere but they may also have competed somewhat with the driftwood. Glad to see you shot from down low, maybe next time try shooting up from even lower and see what you get.
Meantime keep up the great work!

It did indeed look like a dragon in the thumbnail. Well seen. |

Nice portrait of this ocean-going log, weathered into basic beauty. The overcast skies complement the mood. |

Great image. Think you could have made it a touch more dramatic with a bit of dodge and burn. |
