An appealing image that meets the challenge well.

A great landscape Benedikt. I have to agree with your commenters there is much the feel of an oil painting about it. In answer to your question about the leading lines, I can understand why you ask the question, whilst they are not prominent I feel that is a strength of the image, the subtlety of the leading lines, they lead without dragging you in, you are ‘led’. I am so envious of your gorgeous Icelandic surroundings, that is not to take away the skills you obviously have in abundance to produce such a splendid work of art, well done.

Not only scenically beautiful, it's a visual pleasure to trace the rivers threading down into and across the lowlands and into the larger river. Also the descending lines of hills and mountains. Sumptuous. A co-favorite.
