 This is the current world-champion calf roper in action. Never thought I'd see a world champ at a small rodeo in small-town Ontario, but that ya be! Will try to remember to get his name.

Normally I shoot from ground level but the rodeo's resident photog is a churlish prick who ensures that any other photos are confined to a tiny holding area miles way from the action. So I had to shoot from the stands, and make do with the shots I got.

An appealing image that meets the challenge well.

A great action shot that fills the challenge brief well. Your challenge was increased given the restrictions you found imposed upon you but you still have a good viewpoint here together with your timing it makes for an interesting and informative image. I do feel it is lacking in contrast but perhaps you were after a lower key effect. Anyway, good shot Susan, thanks for sharing.
