I love the idea and title. The thing that distracted me about the photo is the piece of lint or hair near the end of the bent straw. I was trying to clean my monitor for several minutes before I figured out it was the photo =p

If you had filled out the picture with straws to the right, the impression of a 'sea of straws' would have been perfect. And some additional rows to the back would have created a nice blend to the background, as those further away are brighter. But I really like this anyway. 8.

Excellent concept!....I love the idea.....but...and a big BUT....colors are off....and too high key for this....i am still giving you a 7....GL!

a darker BG would make the "periscope" stand more out
