Unique image and nice composition. picture could be improved with softened light, or light from more than one angle.

I think you have a good micro here. Nice colors, texture, lines, and curves. The subject sitting on top of the background adds to the depth. The only thing that is distracting to me is the bottom right, too much white. Great shot!

I would have preferred this if the sand didnt disappear at the bottom.
