What a cool shot of this insect!
In my opinion, though... it does not meet the challenge topic description since insects are not included in the definition.
It's a really cool shot with the focus on the eyes where it should be. Could be a bit more DOF to get the back included too, IMO.
I'm not sure how to vote this... I'll be back later. |

| lack of focus, adjust your F/stop to get everything (at least the bug's body) in focus. A 6 from me |

| I can't get over my indifference to bug pictures, but the focus in this one is just off enough to make it more interesting than most in the genre. Plus it's a very nice, appealing bug. Thank you. |

| Nice clean and simple image. Could have done with a greater dof so that the back of the beetle was in focus. |
