| Nice pick of an unusual subject. Lighting (one light source, it looks like) is a bit bland and the angle doesn't let us really see the carving. Maybe next time use a white piece of paper to bounce light onto the dark side. Interesting details could be better seen with a wider depth of field. |

| Very interesting subject. I really like the texture visible in your picture and the color is lovely as well. I'm not really keen on the lighting, since it's coming from the back it obscures the front part of this interesting jade bead. Also the shadow in the lower right corner is odd. I think this centered composition would work better if it were cropped in closer on the sides making the picture square. |

| The harsh shadow is very distracting, and the composition is too centered in my opinion. |

nice photo
the shadow (in the bottom right conor) is the only thing that buggs me otherwise great shot.
(and that bit of red also is a little distracting) |
