 Seemed like the obvious follow-up to my Macro III photo. Lighting was late afternoon sunlight, coming in at a very low angle. Postprocessing: colors fine-tuned in raw conversion, Dust & Scratches and USM filters.

Am I a dork for knowing what your last macro entry was without reading the description?

A guy at a sword store was quite pleased with himself when he told that if I could get it to glow blue then it was free.

This was alovely concept. Good composition. It's just lacking something in the lighting somehow. Perhaps a softer/warmer source? (It must have taken time to clean the nib before resting the pen back on the paper!?)

I think this would look better in B&W, which would give it more of an 'old fashioned' feel.
