 There must be a cleaner way to make energy. This power station is out of place in the heartland.

Converted from RAW to Black & White in Lightroom 6. Edited out power lines using the lasso tool in Adobe Photoshop CS6. Applied sharpening, contrast, highlights and some noise reduction. Converted to pano aspect by cropping.

Art: Thank you for your comments. As I gazed across the farmland and tree lines of the midwest, I could think of nothing else other than "this should not be here." So unnatural to the landscape.
It appeared almost violent, and was certainly "unappealing." That was my take and motivation for the shot, and I'm at least glad that's what came across. YMMV
