 This is an apple in a bowl on the floor.

I don't know what else you expect me to say. :D


Actually, I do have more to say. (You're not surprised, are you? *grin* )

The bowl is locally made by an artist who donated to our local Soup Kitchen event. Once a year, local restaurants donate soup to the event, local artists make bowls and donate them. There are none that are alike and range in quality of craftsmanship.

For $15 one can go get a container of hot soup and pick out a bowl to take home. There's live music, a silent auction, more crafts to buy... people get together... It's a fun time for all and all of the money goes to our local "soup kitchen" that feeds thousands of meals a year to folk who need a good meal. $32,000 was raised at this year's event.
