| It's not a carved heart, just the natural behavior of the bark. It's like the thin outer layer of bark peels back as the tree grows. There are other scars all over the trees. This one just happened to be shaped like a heart. |

| I never had anyone carve a heart for me but I bet if I ask my sweatheart to carve one he would. Nice shot. |
