This image lacks pop...too subdued by what I suspect to be aggressive burning in the upper third of the shot. Otherwise it would be a fantastic July candidate. |

Would be much better with more of the beach cropped and not so much sky. |

the sky seems a little bit too dark here. Good shot other than that. |

Wow, very nice picture. I'd buy that calender! Nice 8 from me, however, it would have been higher, if you had removed the people. Great work. |

It's clear you were thinking about composition with the way the surf line comes into the frame and follows a straight line. If you had attempted to triangulate the tree line and the surf line to point to the sky you might also have been pleased. Including the people for scale was a good idea. |

A very nice shot. Good sky, looks like a graduated filter? or similar effect? Nice lead in's from the seashore, the trees etc. However I find the people in the shot a distraction, I know its not your private beach, (is it? If it is then the best photo I've ever seen, can I come and take some, please), They are too far away to add anything to the shot. If they had been closer and walking into the shot that would have been about ideal. As it is the shot lacks some interest in the middle, without those figures the interest would have been the vast empty beach, in my opinion anyway. Well done though, a six from me. |

Nice shot. I think it would have been even better if the shore line was at more of an angle - Maybe stepping out into the surf a little would have done it. 6 |

Im missing summer so much already and winter hasnt even started yet :-(... so depressing.... But your picture is very beautiful! The only suggestion i would make is that the clouds could be a touch whiter. |

Even it's July, it looks cold. Overall, well executed shot. |

The sky was to dark to give me a warm july feeling. |

wonderful calendar image, i feel that the sky may be just a little too dark for the beach scene though, almost gives a feeling that a storm is coming |

IMO you slightly overdid it with the polarizer as the sky is a bit unnaturally dark-blue but this looks like a great spot for a vacation, it could easily be in a travel brochure and it would sell me the trip so I think it´s a good shot. |
