I should likely plan out my Extended Free Study images more carefully. An all too common strategy I employ is, the last night to submit, I look over any interesting images I have taken in the last month and find a couple of typically unassociated shots that I think might look interesting if they were blended together. One of these images is of a person walking through an interesting shell in the south pond of Lincoln Park. The other image is one taken at the Natural History Museum of zebras in a diorama – one of several I took for the If I Were an Animal challenge. Thanks for the comments.

this was in my handful of better shots that I never got around to bumping up or commenting on. visually meditative; doesn't need a title, but we know the sweet siren song of puns.

thanks for sharing your M O, your "too common strategy." more common than one might think. or not.

And such a nice echo of the man with the elephant. Maybe we humans are learning to think.
