| Didn't vote (sorry) ... my observation at this point would be the softness. Looks like missed focus (attempted to get the head in focus but missed). I probably would have given this a 4. Hope that doesn't sound mean. Just being honest. |

| I thought you caught a bit of magic on this. I am a sucker for a nice shot with falling snow. I am surprised at the low score. |

I gave it a 5, Wendy, so I'm part of the crowd.
I think if the eye and maybe also the beak were really sharp and with a catchlight (even an artificial one)... it would have scored higher. |

| I really like the softness, and motion blur in this. The subdued colors in the snow make this photo appealing to me. |
