 Despite my phobia of lizards, I was able to capture this and feel a certain level of fascination with it.

Handheld as it was moving and I needed the freedom to run off when it got too close for my comfort level. I went with b&w because I wanted the emphasis of its scaly texture.

Very nice! Mr. Scaley is perfect for your B&W conversion. The detail is pretty amazing. If I could make one suggestion, it would be to try to bring his eye out just a tad more.
