| Nice macro. The shallow depth of field has started to blur the flower, and that really brings attention to the centre of the flower well. Your focus is perfect. Great work. |

| I like the lighting on the flower that you used. I think by putting a black background behind the flower would have created more intrest in this picture. Nice Work. |

| This image is very nice. I like the way that the flower is set against a blue/green background. It really adds a nice range of color. The only thing that seemed to be a little disturbing to the eye is that the flower is locate off to the side and isn't centered. |

| Very nice composition. I wish that it had a bit more separation from the background in terms of contrast. It would also be nice if some highlights could have been applied... perhaps a backlight or some glow through illumination with a narrow spot aimed at the petals. |

| I really like the color of the lighting in the bg. Center of the flower looks oversharpened maybe. I would like to see the petals in focus as well and a bit more lighting on them. 7 |

| One of my favorite flowers. Love the DOF and the choice of flower. Composition is right on. What can I say, no criticism, so I guess this comment isn't useful. Hey, not everyone needs help! Great job. |

| The only thing that would make this better for me is if you would have pruned off the branch that is running behind the blossom. The crisp focus on the red anther is fantastic. Great job. 8 |

| absolutely beautiful! Excellent macro with a pleasant feel to it and the background of blue is not distracting, bringing the eyes back to the centre of the flower, showing the red and green of the filament. Excellent use of the rule of 3rds also. The eyes focus on the flower and stay there. Very elegant image. |
