It is a good image, I think you suffered a bit with it being a "Calendar" challenge.

Thanks for all your comments. I had fun with this entry. Originally the foreground was much darker, more of a silhouette, and I think I should have left it that way.
This is my first entry to score in the top 100... I think I'm starting to get the hang of this :)

Not sure about having a scene from a cemetery on a calendar? But that aside its well done. Quite well balanced, very good. The colours are wonderful in the sky but look a little strange on the stones and the grass? What's with the wavy border along the bottom of the shot?

| This is a nice photo. I don't think I would buy a calendar with a photo of a cemetery, however. There is something that doesn't quite work for me with the composition, but I can't put my finger on it. Could be the "clutter" of the tombstones contrasted with the serenity of the tree silhouette and sunset. I think the cropping of the ones in the foreground is a little awkward. Still, 6 from me. |

| wonderful colours, the sillouette of the tree is very appealing, I'm not sure that I would like to spend a month looking at graves though. i'm from england and to me the graves represent rememberence sunday, and the sombre feeling does work well for this month |
