Yep, brother Jake again...

An out take from the Dorothea Lange challenge. Due to the Christmas season I didn't have much extra time for photography so decided to use this for the FS. I think Jake deserves to be shown again - he did go through a lot of discomfort for this. When some of my family saw this at Christmas they laughed and asked him why he looked so "miserable." He replied that he was directed to because he was representing the dirty thirties, and secondly (and more importantly) the snow was blowing in his face so he had no choice lol.

Nice portrait but a little to much staging. The straw in mouth and Black Cat book cheapen the effect. Still well done but I'd enjoy something more believable.

It's a great photo but I'm not a fan of the sepia tone. Black and white would've suited a lot better in my opinion. 7.
